Why you are probably owed money
Hammersmith & City line delays add up faster than you think.
The Hammersmith & City line runs from Hammersmith in west London to Barking in east London, calling at Paddington, Baker Street, King's Cross St Pancras, Liverpool Street and Whitechapel. It's one of the oldest routes on the Tube, tracing its origins back to 1863 and the original Metropolitan Railway.
Because it shares track with the Circle, District and Metropolitan lines, any fault on those lines can cause knock-on Hammersmith & City delays. The 15 minute threshold still applies - any journey delayed that long gets a full refund.
